MEAAC is an interdisciplinary academic conference, that showcases high quality keynote speeches, invited talks, oral and poster presentations of refereed papers. It highlights in hot research fields, including intelligent manufacturing, robot system control, smart cities, etc., and aims to foster the exchange of research advances and technologies addressing emerging challenges in the frontlines of scientific researches and engineering practices in all fields of Mechanics, Electronics, Automation and Automatic Control. MEAAC warmly welcomes new insights from both industry and academia, on both basic and applied researches.
2024 the 2nd International Conference on Mechanics, Electronics, Automation and Automatic Control (MEAAC2024) is going to be held during June 15-17, 2024 in Ordos, China. On behalf of the organizing committee, we would like to cordially invite experts and participants from academia and industry to participate in MEAAC2024!
MEAAC2024 is soliciting the original and high-quality submissions in terms of research novelty, technical excellence, or unique applications in the real world, in three major themes: Mechanics, Electronics, Automation and Automatic Control. All paper submissions will be peer reviewed by at least 2-3 independent reviewers. Expert and student researchers are welcomed to join MEAAC as authors, reviewers, speakers or listeners.

Brief Introduction: Dr. Xia currently serves as Vice Dean of School of Mechanical Engineering, SJTU, where he received his Ph.D. in 2014. He worked as a postdoctor in ISyE, Georgia Tech and a joint Ph.D student in WuMRC, University of Michigan. His articles include ASME, IEEE, EJOR, RESS and so on. Current researches include prognostics & health management for advanced manufacturing paradigms. He is a member of INFORMS, IISE, IEEE and ASME.

Dr. Yue is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers (IEEE). He is an Associate Editor for IEEE Access, Editor Board Member for three other scientific journals, Guest Editor for >10 journal special issues. He also served as Chair or Committee Member for >80 international conferences, Reviewer for >60 prestigious journals.

Brief Introduction: Xie Ming is holding the positions of Associate Professor at Nanyang Technological University, Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Humanoid Robotics (Indexed by SCI/SCIE), Associate Editor of IEEE Transaction on Autonomous Mental Development, and Director of private companies. He has served as technical consultants to Asia Electronics Pte Ltd in 1994, Port of Singapore Authority in 1994, Delphi Automotive Systems Pte Ltd in 2001, ST Aerospace Ltd in 2006, Murata Electronics Pte Ltd in 2007, and Sony Electronics Pte Ltd in 2007. He has also worked with Renault Automation (Paris/France) in 1986, INRIA Sophia-Antipolis (Nice/France) between 1990 and 1993, and Singapore-MIT Alliance between 2000 and 2004. In addition, Xie Ming has served as the General Chair of International Conference on Climbing and Walking Robots in 2007, and International Conference on Intelligent Robotics and Applications in 2009. Xie Ming obtained his B.Eng in control and automation in 1984. At the same year, he was selected as one of Chinese government's overseas scholars. Thereafter, he obtained the Master degree in industrial automation from the University of Valenciennes (France) in 1986, and the Ph.D degree in informatics from the University of Rennes (France) in 1989. He has published one best-selling book in robotics in 2003, and over 100 research papers so far. Xie Ming has taught a number of university courses such as Applied Machine Vision, Robotics, Computer Graphics, Statistical Process Control, and Physics. Xie Ming's research strengths are in machine intelligence, humanoid robotics and autonomous vehicles. In total, he has won two scientific competition awards, and two best conference paper awards.

He is an expert in laser additive manufacturing and materials genome engineering. He has participated in many projects such as National Natural Science Foundation of China, the International Cooperation Projects with US and Singapore. His scientific research achievements won the Researcher Award of the University of Texas and the Houston Space Agency Technology Application Award.

Brief Introduction: Prof. Ping Xiang received the Ph.D. degree from the City University of Hong Kong in 2012. Before his PhD study in City University of Hong Kong in 2009, He had several years’ working experience as an engineer in industry taking responsibilities for mechanical analysis and design. He was involved in numerous mechanical analysis of building structures in Hong Kong. Over the last years, his research in these fields has resulted in refereed international journal papers, including Comput Meth Appl Mech Eng., Int. J. Solids Struct., etc.

Full paper submission |
Full paper submissions should be prepared in English (DOC) and formatted according to the formatting instructions in the paper template. Primary screening and peer review will be made. Peer-reviewed accepted and registered papers will be published in MEAAC 2024 conference proceedings. For each accepted paper, at least one author must attend the conference and present the paper. Authors of all accepted papers must prepare a final version for publication, a poster presentation or a short video/live oral presentation. |
Abstract submission | Abstract submissions should be prepared in English (DOC or PDF), including Title, Authors, Affiliation(s), Abstract and Keywords. Once approved by the conference committee, the extended abstract can be presented at the conference, but NOT published in proceedings. |
Refereeing and citations: Refereeing should be very strict on manuscripts having the majority of citations to the international literature (as opposed to internal documents and not readily available literature). All international references should be properly cited in the text and list in the references list. To avoid ambiguous citing, authors are strongly suggested to provide the DOI's of the referenced documents. Articles with only internal documents refereeing or not readily available literature will be kept from the proceedings.
As an international conference, MEAAC 2024 welcomes a fair number of authors and speakers from different countries and nations.
