MEAAC is an interdisciplinary academic conference, that showcases high quality keynote speeches, invited talks, oral and poster presentations of refereed papers. It highlights in hot research fields, including intelligent manufacturing, robot system control, smart cities, etc., and aims to foster the exchange of research advances and technologies addressing emerging challenges in the frontlines of scientific researches and engineering practices in all fields of Mechanics, Electronics, Automation and Automatic Control. MEAAC warmly welcomes new insights from both industry and academia, on both basic and applied researches.
2023 the First International Conference on Mechanics, Electronics, Automation and Automatic Control (MEAAC 2023) is going to be held during May 13-15, 2023 in Wuhan, China. Brief Introduction: An internationally recognized leader in research and expert on low-speed flight, Dr. McAndrew has five degrees: a PhD, two master's degrees and two bachelor's degrees. He is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society. Dr. McAndrew chairs several international conferences and journals and is invited to give keynote speeches all over the world. He started his career in the automotive industry as an engine designer, and has worked at several universities across the globe. Dr. McAndrew is Dean of doctoral programs at Capitol Technology University. An external examiner on the world wide stage (UK USA, Germany, Italy, Jordan, Japan, Australia, Greece and Kenya) his experience includes over 115 successful Doctorate successes.

Brief Introduction: Dr. Mouftah has published over 1000 technical papers, 7 books and 48 book chapters. To his credit he has 12 patents and 140 industrial reports. Dr. Mouftah has served the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (IEEE) Communications Society as Editor-in-Chief of the Communications Magazine (1995-97), Director of Magazines (1998-99), Chair of the Awards Committee (2002-03), Director of Education (2006-07), and Member of the Board of Governors (1997-99 and 2006-07). Also, he is the founding Chair of two of IEEE Communications Society's Technical Committees (TCs): Optical Networking TC (2002-04) and Ad Hoc and Sensor Networks TC (2005-07). He has been a Distinguished Speaker of the IEEE Communications Society (2000-2008).

Dr. Yue is a Senior Member of the Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers (IEEE). He is an Associate Editor for IEEE Access, Editor Board Member for three other scientific journals, Guest Editor for >10 journal special issues. He also served as Chair or Committee Member for >80 international conferences, Reviewer for >60 prestigious journals

Brief Introduction: Dr. Freris has published several papers in high-profile conferences and journals held by IEEE, ACM, and SIAM and holds three patents. His research has been sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, Anhui Dept. of Science and Technology, Tencent, and NSF, and was recognized with the USTC Alumni Foundation Innovation Scholar award, the IBM High Value Patent award, two IBM invention achievement awards, and the Gerondelis foundation award. Previously, he was with the faculty of NYU and, before that, he held senior researcher and postdoctoral researcher positions at EPFL and IBM Research, respectively. Dr. Freris is a Senior Member of ACM and IEEE, and a member of CCF and SIAM.

Brief Introduction: Dr. Selvakumar Manickam has authored and co-authored more than210 articles in journals, conference proceedings, and book reviews and graduated 18PhDs in addition to masters and undergraduate students. He has given several keynote speeches and dozens of invited lectures and workshops at conferences, international universities, and industry. He has given talks and training on Internet Security, Internet of Things, Industry 4.0, IPv6, Machine Learning, Software Development, Embedded & OS Kernel technologies at various organizations and seminars. He also lectures in various Computer Science and IT courses, including developing new courseware in tandem with current technology trends. Dr. Selva is involved in various organizations and forums locally and globally. Previously, he was with Intel Corporation and fa ew start-ups working in related areas before moving to academia. While building his profile academically, he is still very involved in industrial projects involving SECS/GEM communication protocol, robotic process automation, machine learning, and data analytics using open-source platforms. He also has experience building IoT, embedded, server, mobile, and web-based applications.

Brief Introduction: Guanglei Wu received his PhD in mechanical engineering on the topic of parallel robotics from Aalborg University, Denmark, 2013. He was granted an industrial project by Innovation Fund Denmark and worked as a postdoc fellow in Aalborg University from 2014 to 2016. He was a visiting scholar in the Research Institute in Communications and Cybernetics of Nantes (IRCCyN, the former LS2N) in 2012. From 08/2016, he is an associate professor in Dalian University of Technology. He was the awardee of the Asian MMS 2016 & CCMMS 2016. From 01/2018, Dr. Guanglei Wu was awarded the "Xinghai 1000 Youth Talents" plan. His research interests include conceptual design of robots, performance evaluation of parallel mechanisms, design optimization and industrial robots. He is the referee of a number of international journals and conferences in the fields of mechanisms and robots.

Brief Introduction: Dr. Li obtained his Bachelor degree at Jilin University, and obtained Ph.D. degree at Tsinghua University. Then he worked as a postdoctoral scientist at University of Texas at El Paso in USA. In 2019, he served as a senior researcher in the University of Pittsburgh. He is an expert in laser additive manufacturing and materials genome engineering. He has participated in many projects such as National Natural Science Foundation of China, the International Cooperation Projects with US and Singapore. His scientific research achievements won the Researcher Award of the University of Texas and the Houston Space Agency Technology Application Award.

Abstract: As an important branch in the field of 3D printing, metals additive manufacturing, has demonstrated great value and broad application in strategic emerging industries such as aerospace like turbo engine and blades, transportation like bearings, new energy and medical structures. The research progress has been made through several decades combined with the lab research. It has changed the traditional manufacturing methods and provided new ideas for the direct manufacturing of complex metal structures and functional parts, liberating the freedom of designers and making new product forms emerge, which shows very considerable prospects in the fields of innovative product development, biomedicine and energy.

Brief Introduction: Javaid is an active researcher in the field of additive manufacturing and has a wealth of experience in characterising and analysing varied materials for product development. He has designed and developed several processes capable of manufacturing polymers, metals and composites (metal/metal and plastic/metal) based on the techniques of additive manufacturing. Javaid’s current research focuses on interlacing existing manufacturing practices (subtractive, additive and hybrid) with advanced robotics for engineering applications.

Full paper submissions should be prepared in English (DOC) and formatted according to the formatting instructions in the paper template. Primary screening and peer review will be made. Peer-reviewed accepted and registered papers will be published in MEAAC 2023 conference proceedings. For each accepted paper, at least one author must attend the conference and present the paper. Authors of all accepted papers must prepare a final version for publication, a poster presentation or a short video/live oral presentation. |
Abstract submission | Abstract submissions should be prepared in English (DOC or PDF), including Title, Authors, Affiliation(s), Abstract and Keywords. Once approved by the conference committee, the extended abstract can be presented at the conference, but NOT published in proceedings. |
