Since ushering in the telecommunications revolution with the development of low-loss optical fiber in 1970, optical communications became one of the most popular methods of communication for their high bandwidth, exceptionally low loss, great transmission range and no electromagnetic interference. Indeed, optical communication changes the way the world connects since then. Optical communication technology has brought great changes to our life, and promoted the development of our society and economy. Optical information processing, an emerging discipline developed in recent years, is an important part of modern information processing technology by combining communication and optics, which has successfully solved many scientific problems, breathed new life into the field and become a very active research direction.

The International Conference on Optical Communication and Optical Information Processing (OCOIP 2023) will be held in Sanya, China, from November 13-15, 2023. It focuses to present the latest theoretical advances and experimental state of the art in the newly developing field of optical communication and optical information processing, with particular emphasis on applications to communication, information storage and processing. The conference aims to share research results, advance the development of the discipline and promote the cultivation of talents. We sincerely welcome all experts and scholars in the related fields to attend the conference.

OCOIP 2023 is soliciting original submissions on a wide range of optical communications and optical information processing, spanning both theoretical and practical research.

Types of Submissions

During the submission process, make sure to select one type of submissions from the following 2 options.

Submission Type	Description and Details
Full paper submission	Full paper submissions should be prepared in English (DOC) and formatted according to the formatting instructions in the paper template. Primary screening and peer review will be made. Peer-reviewed accepted and registered papers will be published in OCOIP 2023 conference proceedings. For each accepted paper, at least one author must attend the conference and present the paper. Authors of all accepted papers must prepare a final version for publication, a poster presentation or a short video/live oral presentation.
Abstract submission	Abstract submissions should be prepared in English (DOC or PDF), including Title, Authors, Affiliation(s), Abstract and Keywords. Once approved by the conference committee, the extended abstract can be presented at the conference, but NOT published in proceedings.

Submission Methods

All new manuscripts to OCOIP 2023 should be submitted directly via Online Submission System. By using the online submission system, you can access and process your submitted manuscript(s) from anywhere with internet access, and all the records including the files and the exchange of information will be maintained.
